If you drive through Blackwall or Silvertown tunnel during charging times, you need to pay every time you cross.  Charges apply from 06.00 – 22.00, 7 days a week in both directions and you have until midnight on the third day after your journey to pay.  Non payment will result in a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).  You can Pay online, download the official TfL Pay to drive in London app which is available to download for free at both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, or pay by phone: UK: 0343 222 2222 (call charges may apply), International: +44 343 222 2222

We do not provide the toll authorities with card details or private information of our customers. Instead, we make it more convenient by charging your card directly based on the information provided by the toll authorities. If you have any questions about the tolls themselves, or wish to dispute the charges, your questions are best directed to the toll authority.

It is standard that the charge for tolls arrives a few weeks following the end of your rental, as we must wait for the charge details to be provided by the toll authorities. The charge is usually taken in one payment but multiple charges/receipts are also possible based upon the location and duration of the rental.

Your e-toll receipts for North American rentals can be downloaded directly from www.e-tolls.com. All that is required to access the receipt online is the surname of the main driver and your rental agreement number (format U123456789) or partial card number (first six digits and last four digits). If you regularly use the electronic tolls service, it may be beneficial to complete the ‘Auto-Receipt Sign up’ option which is also available via www.e-tolls.com to ensure all receipts are sent to you as standard.
